Peekaboo Hostel

Loved my stay here! Ziad was so great and welcoming, I really appreciated the tea on the first night. There aren’t too many shops on the street, but there are some local mini stores that can get you some basic stuff. Close proximity to the Medina and Souks as well.

Host was so welcoming and friendly. Offered tea every night. I stayed in the female dorm which was a good size and had lockers with keys for valuables. Location wasn’t the best since it was far from the main attractions and kinda scary to walk alone as a solo female because of the staring and constant cat-calling (even though i was dressed modestly). the key to the outside door was not easy to use.

The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. The place was overall clean. It had a nice kitchen which was great. There was 2 bathrooms at times could get busy but ok. The small lock box I had the lock was broken. The bed was quite loud and creeky to move in and the place was next to a busy street making it hard to sleep due to the noise. I would recommend noise canceling earphones Forsure. Overall the place was good tho. Caution if you’re a light sleeper.
