staff never around and seemed frustrated people were staying there on arrival, no hot water, everything super filthy, and one hob for everyone in the hostel. luckily we were the only guests at the time. v good location however and staff (when around) were helpful when wanting to book tours etc

We were told we are NOT allowed to lock our door, and it has street access. No keys. Anyone could walk in at any time day/night. No gate around the property (which would be fine if we were allowed to lock our doors!) the lady at the front desk was NEVER there. We needed help booking a shuttle and could not find her. the reception door was locked in the middle of the day (during the hours they claim they are there). Our rooms had full garbage from the previous people. smelly blankets.

This was a strange hostel. The atmosphere was very odd and there was a lot of confusion with reception. The actual dorm was fairly clean although security was minimal. Kitchen was small and basic. Location was decent - easy walk into town. Laundry service was available but again confusion with staff made it an unsettling experience. Overall would probably not stay here again but have stayed in worse places.
