Dream Lodge @ Farrer Park

Showers are small and not clean. Otherwise, bed war very clean, staff was nice but the owner (I think?) is hard to get a smile from. Nice but small space for socializing.

The place has exactly what you need, a bed, a place to shower and a secure facility for your belongings. The bed spaces are comfy and private. The only frustrating aspect I had to deal with is that the one restroom area had ran out of toilet paper in the night in all stalls and wasn’t able to be restocked till someone was at the front desk the next day. Also be prepared to have specific shower shoes for the shared bathroom as your regular shoes are to be left outside all rooms/bathrooms.

Don't get the 4-person dorm. It's fully exposed to the street and the bathroom/showers with two big windows with no curtains or shades. You're sharing the bathroom with everyone else so it's not worth the extra money. No fans/ventilation in the shower stalls so you will end up sweating like a horse even after a 3 minute shower. Tiny ants in the showers. The biggest benefit is that buses stop right across the street.
