IMPORTANT:
Huaca Huaca Hostel is located up in the middle of the forest, 1.4 km (about a 25-minute walk) from the main road, and the only way to access it is on foot — there is no other option.
The entry point (known as “Entrada Fin del Mundo”) is at km 6 of the Mocoa–Villagarzón road, in the San José del Pipino forest. You can reach this point by vehicle; from there onwards, you must walk as indicated above. After crossing the bridge, turn left and continue walking. There are gates along the trail that can be opened and then closed again. Most of the trail is uphill.
If walking at night, it is necessary to bring a flashlight 🔦 to light the path.
Luggage:
For convenience, if you would like to leave part of your luggage and only bring essentials or valuables to the hostel, you can use the storage service at JJ Parking, located right at the entrance. Alternatively, you can contact us in advance at 3115060823 to arrange someone to help bring your luggage for an extra fee.
Transport:
If you are in Mocoa:
You can take the colectivo on route 4, which passes by the bus terminal street. Cost: $3,000.
Take a taxi 🚖. Cost: $20,000.
Ask the driver of the vehicle you arrived in if they pass by the “Entrada Fin del Mundo” so you can continue with the same vehicle.

Food:
At the hostel, we prepare homemade meals upon request for our guests.
We also have a shared kitchen, for which you will need to bring your own ingredients or food.
