Mohammed Mutlak Camp was born to offer visitors to the Wadi Rum Protected Area the experience of the most authentic Bedouin hospitality. Here every detail is taken care of with great attention: The location, the quality of the tents – chalets with attention to every detail, with insulation made of traditional and totally natural materials, electrical sockets, lighting, windows – and of the beds (worthy of a real hotel! ), the outdoor and indoor common areas, the great flexibility and availability of our team. Everything contributes to making a stay at the MMC a gratifying, surprising and unforgettable experience.
Mohammed Mutlak Camp stands out for its unique and unrepeatable position. Away from other Camps and tourist trails, our camp is nestled in unrivaled beauty. Wherever you look, at 360 degrees, you can enjoy an astonishing view at any time of the day. Sunrises and sunsets are topical and unmissable moments for all our guests.
We provide the transfer both ways by Jeep from the Wadi Rum Village. Guests can choose to get to the Camp either riding a Camel – it takes about 2 hours – or trekking with a Guide – a 3/4 hours wonderful experience. Same for the way back to the Village.
Shared Bathrooms are in two separate buildings, one for females, one for males. Western Style WC, Basins, Showers, Mirrors, Hot Water H24. Bathrooms are constantly cleaned up and sanitized.
The common areas are the fulcrum around which everything happens. Both the large living-restaurant-tents and the outdoor area have been designed to encourage interaction and meeting between guests in a typically Bedouin atmosphere, where excellent tea is constantly served and where a large bivouac is always on. Musicians and exponents of local culture often take part, to cheer and involve our guests in memorable evenings.
Mohammed Mutlak Camp Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
If you book a tour with us, the transfer from Rum Village to our camp will be free of charge, otherwise the transfer from and back to the village is 15 JOD per person.
Zarb Dinner is an extra and is priced 10 JOD per person
