Unfortunately, my experience at this hostel was quite disappointing. The bathroom was already dirty when I arrived, and despite asking, it was never cleaned during my three-night stay. While the infrastructure of the place is decent, the management and staff seemed very unprofessional. Staff members repeatedly entered the dorm room without knocking, which I found extremely intrusive.
The most unsettling moment happened on my last night: I was alone in the room when a male staff member entered at 1am without knocking and stayed the entire night. He didn’t speak English, couldn’t explain why he was there, and his behavior (including red eyes and erratic demeanor) made me feel extremely unsafe. Thankfully, another guest arrived later and helped de-escalate the situation.
Additionally, another guest in the dorm spotted a bug and reported being bitten during the night.
Overall, I would not recommend this hostel. While the facilities have potential, the place felt poorly managed, unhygienic, and at times, unsafe. I hope they take serious steps to improve both cleanliness and staff training before hosting guests again.
