Gîte Akioud Mazzik

Stayed here as a group of four and cannot recommend it enough as a place to stay in Imlil. It is comfortable, clean, has incredible views of the Atlas Mountains on the terrace and has everything you need. The owner, Mohamed, is very kind, friendly and helpful - it was a pleasure to stay!

The owner was really kind and always available. He has a second job, so he isn’t always on-site, but he was always reachable via WhatsApp and responded quickly. I met some really nice people here, perhaps even because the place is small, which creates a friendly atmosphere. It’s a great base for starting the hike to Mount Toubkal. It’s within walking distance of Imlil, and there’s a small shop just below the accommodation. There’s also a nice rooftop where you can relax and enjoy the view.

Mohammed took amazing care of me and my friends during our stay. He arranged our tour, took care of our equipment (even rented out a jacket for free), made us feel right at home with cups of tea, loaned out money when we were short on cash, let us use the facilities a day after checkout and much more. I would definitely recommend!
