Bee Hostel

Check in at 11am is amazing, especially when hotels often are 3pm. I was greeted by a very helpful member of staff and received a tour. It's basic but spacious and has every you need. The bed arrangement is unusual but it works. The beds are higgledy piggledy. I asked for a low bunk and that is what I got. I had to make my own bed but that's no big deal. I had some wine on the terrace, then I headed out to the bar just outside to the left, in the corner. Slept well, guests respectful.

We booked a only woman room but there were also men sleeping there. The dishes in the kitchen weren’t clean. People were really nice and the location is great

I didn’t have a great experience at this hostel. I booked a female dorm but was placed in a mixed dorm instead, which was disappointing. The AC was also extremely cold, making the room uncomfortable. The social atmosphere felt lacking, with many people already in close groups or working there, so it was hard to connect. As one of only two women, I didn’t feel very comfortable or welcome. Shame, because the facilities itself were nice; location also, but the hostel experience disappointing.
