I booked this hostel expecting character but it was more run-down than expected. The hostel used WhatsApp for communication which was greatly appreciated but once I got there, it was not clear how to signal the staff of my arrival and there was a delay in the response. Likewise for check out. The vibe felt stand-offish but I felt safe in general, with that big brass key. Bathroom can use some maintaining too. The kitties were such a ray of sunshine tho! Keep in mind, I was there for 1 night only

Honestly worst hostel I have ever stayed out. Really worn down and pretty gross. Super unorganized too - they woke us up by turning all the lights on at midnight because they assigned two people the same bed. Only stayed one night, but definitely would have changed if I had more time in BA. Very confused about all the positive reviews for this place. I would recommend to stay away.

l'auberge est bien située, c'est à dire proche d'un marché, plusieurs restos/cafés et truc touristiques. Les staffs étaient sympathique (dont une française que j'ai oublié son nom 😬). Par contre, ils faisaient vrm froid dans les chambres (moi et mes cochambreur ont dormaient avec notre manteau) et l'oreiller qu'on ma donné était de la 💩.
