Malila Sea Breeze

WATCH OUT, in the 4 person room I was getting electrocuted touching the shower knob and small shocks from toilet etc. the outlets also fried me and my friends power bricks. On top of that the ac went out multiple times with bascially an oops sorry message. The sink drain runs into the shower with weird sludge coming out? The room itself was the worst stay I’ve ever been to which is a shame because the beach is nice and the staff and very friendly. Maybe we just had an unlucky week of going wrong

This hostel was awesome! It’s the perfect place to chill if you’d like to relax a bit after traveling. They also had shuttles to parties on different parts of the island if that’s your thing. The one thing is that the ladies dorm is right next to the lobby area where they play music from 8am-10pm so if that’s something that bothers you I’d book one of the mixed dorms or bring earplugs. Every night I was able to cozy up on a beanbag and stargaze before bed. I’d definitely book this hostel again!

It’s good if you’re not solo - that’s how it felt. There were great facilities but the loud music constantly + no actual social activities weren’t my favorite. The demographic was more people who just wanted a space to sleep. But the staff were so lovely and the beds are comfy
