Established in 1986, Hostel Monte Cassino is a clean, Friendly, low cost hotel run by a Mexican Italian family. We offer a welcome in fluent English, Spanish and Italian and pride ourselves on our quiet, private rooms which cost no more than a crowded dormbed in other hostels . We are also home to Marios Pizzeria , The oldest restaurant on the adoquin - The heart of Puerto Escondido nightlife , Our customers receive a 10 % discount.

Location-wise, you'll be right across the road from the beach and very close to a supermarket. And just down the road is El Adoquin, the best restaurant and nightlife street in Puerto Escondido.
You'll also be next to Playa Zicatela, the 3rd largest big-wave surfing beach in the World!
We're always willing to help you with anything you might need, whether it's tips on the nightlife, travel advice, arranging surfing lessons, or seeing a doctor. Our guests are mostly international travellers and backpackers.
