Welcome surfers and travellers to The Surf Hostel!
We are a group of brothers from Taghazout who started up The Surf Hostel 12 years ago to provide a cool and laid back atmosphere for people to get the most out of their experience in Morocco. Located in the heart of Taghazout, the number one surf destination of Morocco, we are just a short walk away from world class waves such as the infamous right-hand points Anchors, Killers and La Source. For those with less experience our local beach breaks like Panoramas, Banana Beach and Hash Point provide the perfect spots to develop your surfing.
We believe in providing a home away from home with a variety of rooms to suit your needs, from 7-bed dorms to private doubles! We offer our guests movie nights on our rooftop terrasse, surf lessons, surf boards rental, sand boarding, trips to Paradise Valley, souk tours to Agadir, night's out to Agadir, spear and boat fishing in summer, Moroccan cooking classes and much more!
After a big day surfing, our ocean view terraces has sun loungers and huge couches to kick back with friends. Come night time enjoy surf movie nights on the tv, jam sessions and much more. We also offer our guests BBQ dinner every Sunday and Thursday, as well as free couscous meal on Fridays! We have two indoor communal lounges and our fully equipped kitchen is perfect to cook up a tasty meal. You can also keep in touch with the world and check the surf reports using the free Wifi which is accessible throughout the hostel.
We have a range of surfboards and wetsuits available to rent here at the hostel, but if you dont find something you like- dont worry! Our brother owns a surf shop just across the road where you can rent equipment and fix your boards for special guest rates.
