I can’t recommend this place enough. I stayed for only a couple days- but wish I could’ve stayed longer. The place itself is magical, it gives a very relaxed, welcoming and “home” vibe. It is family run and you can definitely tell. I felt very at home and at peace during my stay here. It’s not a party hostel, but I think a place to relax and to get to know yourself and other like minded people. Having yoga onsite was a huge bonus. I won’t ever forget my stay here, and hope to be back!

I found Don Jon’s through a Reddit recommendation, looking for a place to stay in Santa Teresa while I practiced surfing. What a joy it was staying there! The staff are all super personable and friendly, the atmosphere with the other guests was great, and they have 24/7 security so I had no worries leaving my stuff there. I worked remotely for a few days, but honestly the pull to lay in a hammock and relax was very strong (while I wasn’t at the beach)
