Rope Walk hostel have had some bad reviews e.g on Security. Albeit I must say that RW has been the absolute most secure hostel I’ve have stayed in. Keycard needed to Enter the building and surveillance in the lobby. Both rooms we stayed in were fine and clean enough although only the deluxe room had a private bathroom and shower. Shared bathrooms floortiles are rather dirty and they could use a proper scrub. Also having a watermachine in the bathroom is just disgusting. (Twice a year maintaince)

LADIES DO NOT STAY HERE!! Not only did the hostel fail to answer and email regarding late check in, like they literally ask you to do. They also put my husband and I into FEMALE ONLY dorms because they over booked themselves. We ended up leaving right after check in because we werent comfortable with that. Then as we left we found out they did it with 3 other men as well!! They just want to fill rooms, they dont care for the saftey of people! They are still giving usbthe run around on refund too
