I selected this place because it was across the road from KL central. I could not have been happier. My room was noisy as the bathroom window would not completely close and a number of guest were noisy. My room was spotless, new bottled water every day was a nice surprise, as was the ability to make a cup of coffee. There is a simple and inexpensive restaurant next door, which made my stay even easier.

Upon arrival, they could not find our booking and it took a long time to check in. Bed sheets and towels were filthy and old. The other members of the hotel were shouting throughout the night but the staff seemed unapproachable so we felt we could not complain to them about the noise. My friend and I barely got a whole two hours sleep in the night.

That hostel should not be on your list. I had to go to the doctor to get some ointment to relieve the itching caused by bed bugs. Air conditioning leaked all over the place, had to disconnect the phone for fear of a short circuit. Same goes for the bed side lamps.
