ITC Hotel Amsterdam

The photos were misleading. The advertised building is not the one you stay in, which is old and run-down. The hotel felt more like a 1-star property, with a strong smell of vomit in the stairwell. I paid €600 for 3 nights, then was charged another €200 in "taxes" despite the booking stating all taxes were included. They also tried to charge €100 for my 4-year-old daughter, although their website says children her age stay free.

Location is great. Staff was helpful and very nice. However, the room and the bed sheets weren't super clean, it was smelly (humidity). The price per night is high for the experience I had.

Very nice! I booked a non-refundable option and was accidentally a day off and I called and even though nothing could be changed, the woman who answered the call was super kind and helpful and offered to. look up the hostel world policies for me and called me back. The room was very nice. A little expensive and it was small, but it had towels and linens. Close to a lot of food places.
