Serendipity also offers numerous tours and shuttle services at the best Price: volcano sandboarding, Telica sunset, Granada, San Juan del Sur, etc. In Serendipity Hostel we make sure you can reach to know the best local places of Nicaragua. Moreover, if you request any shuttle service in advance Serendipity will pick you up wherever you are (Managua, San Juan, Airport…)! Time does not matter to us! Do not hesitate, this is your place and we will be happy to welcome you! We are waiting for you!

We are located in San Felipe, a neighbourhood which is in front of Faculty of Law of UNAN. This is the most central area of the city of Leon, near to the most relevant landmarks and tourist attractions such as the Cathedral of Leon, Revolution Museum and Antiguo Teatro Gonzales. Furthermore, several restaurants, coffee shops and night clubs are near to the Faculty of Law of Unan.

We currently have 7 rooms of which 3 belongs to the second floor which is not opened yet. The first floor has 4 rooms of which 2 are private and 2 are bedrooms (10 and 6 people in each of them). All rooms have share bathroom

I felt safe the entire time of my staying here in leon nicaragua, the hostel is located very close to all the main attractions and the staff was very friendly and very helpful with informations what to do and where to go.

The main problem I had was the security and complete lack thereof. The front doors were left unopened to the street which isn't a problem when the staff were around but they very often weren't and occasionally left for the night, asking the guests to essentially run the hostel for them, opening and closing the door, so if somehow everyone left the hostel then everyone would be locked out. Seemed pretty lackadaisical all in all. Added to the lack of security, the dorm rooms did not have locks.

The staff here were the only redeeming feature. They were super helpful with helping me change my reservation, suggesting things to do and even arranged laundry. The rest of the hostel was not great. Our room was filthy with dirt and cobwebs. The door didn't close let alone lock. There were no lockers in the rooms. The bathrooms look like they had never been cleaned. The water dripped from the shower and there was just a moldy towel on the ground to deal with it.
