Family Dinners & Events:
Inside the hostel we run a small home restaurant offering daily family dinners with vegetarian and vegan options available. The price ranges between 20 and 40 GEL per person.
On selected evenings, our volunteers also prepare free community dinners for guests. These are simple, social meals designed to bring travelers together.
In addition, we organize weekly social events and activities, which are listed on our Linkups page. These may include themed dinners, cultural nights, games or special gatherings.
Dingo Backpackers Hostel was founded by backpackers who traveled and volunteered across Asia, Europe, Oceania and South America for more than 10 years. We created this hostel to offer a truly social place in Georgia where travelers from different nationalities can meet, share stories and feel part of a community.
Our international team is always happy to welcome you with a cold beer from our bar, homemade wine, and in summer, smoothies made from fruits from our garden.
The hostel is located at Kupradze Street 18, about a 10–15 minute walk from the main street and Old Town of Kutaisi. Kupradze is a quiet residential hill, formerly a Soviet military area, now a peaceful green neighborhood where you can experience authentic local life away from the busy city center. Nearby you will find grocery stores and a traditional Georgian restaurant.
In summer, our backyard Dingo Bar is open, serving local beer, homemade wine and daily family dinners. From our large terrace you can enjoy beautiful sunset views and a relaxed social atmosphere.
The house is built in traditional Georgian style, with thick walls, parquet floors, local paintings and antique wooden doors. We have four toilets, a large common area with sofas, a garden and a kitchen that guests can use during limited hours.
All rooms are equipped with comfortable mattresses (renewed regularly), power sockets and reading lights.
We are a traveler community hostel, and evenings can be social and lively, with guests gathering to share travel stories. Please note that we are not a hotel. The building is old and authentic, and small imperfections are part of its character and charm.
We also organize local adventure experiences around hidden places in the Imereti region, as well as multi-day trips around Georgia during the summer. These are local-style experiences rather than standard tours. For more information, please visit our website or contact us directly — we are happy to help you plan your stay.
