I cannot say enough good things about this place. We were able to check in early upon arrival from our night bus. We stayed before and after our Huayhuash excursion, and were able to stow our bags for no extra cost. Our private rooms were always spacious, and super clean. Showers are hot & have great pressure. The breakfast is yummy and terrace is lovely. The family that runs this place is kind and helpful, and very on top of things. Would stay here 100 more times if we were in Huaraz longer!

The place is clean, the staff is friendly and bed is comfortable. They also offer a nice breakfast, and the hostel is located 5 min walking from the commercial center area. Excellent option!

Overall the hostel was fine - it was dated but clean. The staff was polite however only the owner understood English (not an issue just an FYI). One issue was that there was no running water one morning but it was fixed by the time I got back from my excursion. DO NOT book the Santa Cruz trek through them… I had a terrible experience with a guide who made all the women in the trek uncomfortable and got so drunk one night he couldn’t cook us a proper dinner.
