Although small, this hostel was very cute and homely. The owner and his family put so much effort and care into it. I went on a three day jungle tour organised through the hostel and it was amazing. Everything I could have hoped for. Free breakfast was a great addition. Diego went out of his way to help me get to an ATM and was really passionate about his work and the tours :)

Diego is an attentive manager, made my stay easy with a private airport taxi (20 soles). The hostel is clean but there is lots of Amazon heat—3 fans help but very stuffy so wear light clothing and be ready to shower often. I saw some ants and mosquitoes, but Diego’s team keeps things tidy. The affordable full-day tour was great, though the boat ride is long—bring cash for any souvenirs. It’s a chill spot in a touristy area, perfect as a pit stop.

a decent place to stay in Iquitos. get the upper bunk so that you could benefit from the ceiling fan, otherwise it is so hot. must be the jungle setting.
