This was not the best experience in Peru. I was told that the room has a fan only and the remote of the AC was taken away. The charge for the room AC availability was double than what was on booking or Hostelworld. The breakfast was not included and overpriced and the owner claimed that hostelworld never has included breakfast. Eh?! The taxi was also overpriced. It just felt very price gougy but ah well, we were there for one night and got done.

Bed was alright, but avoid paying for anything here besides the room. The owners will try to charge you triple the local prices and claim its because they live on an island, must be their hotel only. I have had staff come into the room multiple times without any apparent reason and they practically try to clean up every grain of sand that you leave behind. While i get the good meaning behind doing so, it leaves you with a feeling of being checked up on everything you do.

Nice place, they have clotheslines to dry your clothes, the common areas are on the top floors so there isn’t a lot of natural interaction with other guests
