I would strongly advise female travellers to stay elsewhere, such as a reputable homestay or hotel. My experience here was uncomfortable and at times unsafe. Payment was often difficult due to lack of change, and there was no female-only dorm despite a male-only option. Many local men appeared to live there long-term, creating an uneasy atmosphere. There's one thing I don't want to find in my accommodation, and that's bed bugs. The staff response to just change sheets doesn't strike me as a sufficient desire to tackle the problem.
