Blue Lotus Inn is indeed a hidden gem. I booked a private room and it has such a quaint and cosy atmosphere. It is well equipped with a fan and air condition. The toilets were always available and well maintained. Everyone were so approachable and friendly. When i was having a late dinner, Mia offered me a plate of rendang she cooked. Also enjoyed my conversations with David when bumping into him in the mornings. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great hostel put together with care by David, the hostel owner! Warm water for a shower is a massive plus. Cafe is nice as well. Feels like a home away from home

Great place built by hand by the owner, who has a story for every inch of each room. Felt very lucky to immerse myself in the eccentricity of it all - very cosy, lots of little touches that make it memorable. WAY underpriced - could be charging double. Would be 10/10, but it’s a little far from the beach (which to be fair I should have realised when booking). Also… a lot of AI art around, which as a creative and arch nemesis of AI broke my heart a bit 🥲 Nevertheless, would stay again.
