Beijing Xingshe Youth Hostel

Lovely hostel, genuinely some of the best showering facilities I’ve been to in one. Everything was pretty spacious, clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful and always doing so with a smile on their face. Happily recommended to a friend who was in Beijing. Was not the most social hostel I’ve been at but efforts have been made by the team. Only reason it’s not a 10 is it’s quite loud and you can hear the goings on of other rooms quite clearly. Very pleasant stay though!

I give Yi Fan 10/10. Hostel was not very clean. Hallway carpet dirty, dust under bed, women's bathroom smelled of sewage and I saw vomit in the sinks and on the floor. Bedrooms did not have good ventilation and mattress was very thin/soft. Communal space was small and has basic seating. The price was cheap though.

Lovely hostel that allows you to explore Beijing to the fullest. Really convenient location, amazing staff that always wants to help, really clean with spacious showers and comfortable beds. Also great little restaurant next to it for a value and affordable dinner. My only complaint is that the electricity works when you attach your card key to the wall which makes it impossible to charge things while you’re gone and you have communicate with whoever leaves first so there’s no issues
