Spend 5 nights in a 6 bed room with ensuite bathroom, however we spend a few days without any toilet paper. Cleaning maybe twice a week, I only witnessed it happening once. The location and building are good, even though it can get a bit loud in the evening with the Spark Arena next door. My first night two girls from Wellington came back late from a party and I heard both of them vomiting in the bathroom in the morning. All the other nights were fine.

Got double charged for a room on the 5th of August. It is now 24th Aug and they STILL haven’t refunded me. Be aware they will auto charge your card & then when you check in you may be asked to pay again - so I paid twice, not realising. Very slow communication from staff about a refund. and no one really knows what’s going on. Do better. Hostel itself is great & very modern design. Close to train station. However the mattresses are very cheap foam so can be a bit sore.
