Super wonderful & kind staff. Location is great - lots around and walkable to many places, but also close to transit for further. The 3 person private room was good and clean but it's a bit of an older building so it didn't feel as clean as I would've liked. Some of our towels had stains on them even though you could tell they were cleaned. The sheets were paper thin and the pillows were so flat which was a bit uncomfortable. The air conditioning requires coins to work (1euro = 3 hrs).

Nice bedrooms and common area with wonderful view. The kitchen however lacked many utensils (like spoons) and seemed to not have been restocked for a long time. The bathrooms were quite disgusting, they were not cleaned for days, after a while there was no toilet paper and for days I saw more and more hairs in the shower and the same dollop of toothpaste on the sink. The people working in the hostel and the AC in the bedrooms were wonderful however, especially with the Barcelona heat in July.

There is a code needed to enter the building and then another code to access the reception to check in. None of the codes are provided in advance. Kept seeing people waiting in the heat outside to be let in the building to check in!! Also the bell at the reception is probably too faint. Kept ringing it but no one would open. Waited for someone to leave to enter through the door. Bathrooms were disappointing. Shower pressure was very low on one and had a broken holder in the other.
