They were all welcoming and friendly, very comfortable atmosphere, they really went above my expectations and even posted my fleece to me which I left behind. We really liked the location aswell. The only thing we'd say is the hob and the bathrooms could do with a bit of maintenance. We would definitley come back.

Honestly one of the nicest hostel stays I’ve had. The atmosphere is so welcoming and positive, and it makes it really easy to settle in and meet people right away. The staff are genuinely so kind and helpful, and you can tell they care about making everyone feel comfortable. Everything is very clean, relaxed, and has a really good energy throughout the place. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely come back!

Are you looking for a perfect family hostel? From the moment you step foot in here, I have only three words of advice for you: enjoy the Barkly’s family! This place has done so much for me—it’s been a home, it’s been a family, and it helped me out tons with all the work I did on my van. They even let me keep my things in their garage. My favorite spot was the rooftop, where you can get a view of St Kilda and the sunset. Get ready to spend time with real artist. Thanks Barkly! Always with me
