Het is een hele steile wandeling naar boven om er te komen. Onze badkamer was bizar klein, je kon letterlijk douchen op de wc. Dat zijn de enige minpunten, dus voor de prijs is het prima. Schoon en fijne bedden.

Very very very nice location! (Close to the ferry gate to visit all the lake!) We had a good stay in the upper house, where it was quiet and with a beautiful view. The lower house seemed to have more ambiance and to be a very nice youth hostel, but we wanted a quiet stay, so it was perfect for us. The rooms are a little bit old and the bathrooms very small, but it is okay for a youth hostel.

My only issue was that the Santangelo Hostel was a bit hard to find. Don’t make the same mistake as me and follow the listings instructions completely. Do not try to go straight to the hostel if you are staying at Santangelo. Instead go to “Lake Como Hostel La Primula” on Google Maps. From there the staff will assist you with the rest of the steps. Besides that minor setback the hostel was great with extremely nice staff and very clean!
