EcoHostal is een prachtig hostel op 380 meter van het strand, gemaakt van gerecycled hout en bamboe, met drie aparte kamers met twaalf comfortabele bedden, een keuken, koelkast en gemeenschappelijke ruimte.

EcoHostal heeft een prachtig terras met hangmatten waar u van het prachtige uitzicht kunt genieten. Het hostel ligt midden in de stad, bijna te veel restaurants, bars en markten. Het is een veilige plek, er zijn veel toeristen in de buurt. Je kunt de stad vanaf ons terras zien en elke dag vanuit de hangmatten genieten van de zonsondergang, het is zo ontspannend. We hebben leuke restaurants beneden die korting bieden voor gasten die in ons hostel verblijven.

I had a perfect stay. The owner & his family will do anything to make your stay pleasant. He speaks several languages, no problem with communication. The women’s dorm has comfortable beds and more then enough space to store your stuff in a locker. The room has a toilet and shower inside. The common areas are big. The kitchen is equipped with everything, easy to make your own meals. Perfect location, close to the beach, supermarket, shops and restaurants/bars. I will definitely come back!

The ladies only room smelled of sewage. Had to hold my breath each use, I almost puked. On my first night a cat popped up from the ceiling & fell on my bed. Then when it rained since I was on the top bunk near the window I felt all the droplets, woke up damp, plus there was no air conditioning. There was no room to change so I had to get dressed inside the shower. & the towel that they gave me was crunchy, bed sheets were scratchy. This place just needs an update really.

Martin was a very friendly staff member who was very helpful every day. this hostel is safe as it has locked doors with electronic fobs. the location is perfect it is walking distance to the beach. the beds were clean and the room was cleaned every day . the shared kitchen was nice. they could do with upgrading the showers as they were basic however overall this is great value for money to stay in punta Cana . the hostel also offered to drive me home to the airport. I would strongly recommend !
