We had a private double room for four nights. The room looked significantly more basic than in the pictures advertised. It was reasonably clean but upon closer inspection a lot of cracked tiles; the seams from the bed sheets were falling apart; the room was extremely cold. In short: fine value-for-money I think, but I have stayed at hostels which were much more pleasant.

We had a lovely extended weekend at West Beach Hotel. Katherine and James at the reception were very welcoming and were very flexible with changes to our booking as our sister was unwell. They also did everything to make us feel comfortable and even facilitated a room change when something unexpected in our original room arose. The breakfast was great.

we loved our stay at west beach hotel! we stayed in a 6 bed dorm, and unfortunately were a bit unlucky with roommates being noisy and messy in the en-suite, but otherwise had no issues. the property is in such a perfect and central location right in the seafront and conveniently for me, a 1 minute walk from the vegan fish and chip shop. we were incredibly well taken care of by lovely catherine, (sorry if i have spelt this wrong) who went out of her way to make us feel at home. thank you!
