Rock Hostel is een plek waar we hopen dat je je thuis voelt, het is gelegen nabij een van de meest emblematische straten van deze drukke bestemming, Medellin, het is Avenida 70 waar je bars, lokale/internationale restaurants, wisselkantoren, supermarkten kunt vinden , onder andere lokale winkels. De locatie is perfect om alle wijken van de stad te leren kennen. Tegenover vindt u het Atanasio Girardot Stadion, waar u op vertoon van uw paspoort diverse sportactiviteiten kunt uitoefenen. U heeft ook de mogelijkheid om concerten van verschillende Latijns-Amerikaanse en internationale aard bij te wonen, evenals voetbalwedstrijden van nationale en Latijns-Amerikaanse teams.

Elke kamer vertegenwoordigt een band van de beste rock zoals Nirvana, ACDC, Motley Crue, Jimmy Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc. De prijs is inclusief ontbijt, beddengoed en toeristisch advies. De receptie is 24 uur per dag geopend.

To begin with, the two owners are very nice people. Friendly, kind and open. Unfortunately, their employers and volunteers are the worst. When I had to pay, I calculated myself, as the receptionist wasn’t able to calculate what I had to pay. I even put in the number my own and put my credit card. Then the beds are horrible, plastic / bad material. Lot of loud music / people until 3/4 am. To make it worse, in the end they wanted us to pay more, and wouldn’t want to let us go! 0/10

Hostel has a problem with bedbugs! We found them and canceld our stay after one night. We did get a refund for the other night. They told us they will close the hostel for the weekend to clean and get rid of the bedbugs. So everyone who was there, or had bookings between Monday and the weekend sleeps in a hostel with BEDBUGS and the hostel KNOWS! The overal hostel is dirty. The sheets have stains from bedbugs and the matrasses are dirty too. The staff was very friendly though.

The location of the hostel is amazing and the staff were really nice, the breakfast was great as well. Now the thing that bothered me was the noise at night. The first night the party lasted until 2 am, the second night it lasted until 4 am. I did not sleep well at all. I did not expect this hostel to be so party-like. Then again, I'm sure the party was great and if you are into that this hostel is great! Last point would be the lack of lockers.
