The hostel is a bit run down over the years but it’s alright for the money that u pay for it. The private room was nice with plenty of place to store your stuff. Common areas could have been cleaned a bit more. I saw one lady cleaning the bathrooms and witnessed how she was using the same cloth for cleaning the toilet, the sink and water tab and even the door handle at the end, that’s pretty disgusting to see..

Awfully dirty. The rooms are old and need some work done to them badly. Kitchen is the same, super old and just really dirty. The showers are horrendous. I didn’t get electrocuted like I have read in a couple of reviews, however the shower floods the bathroom within minutes, there is hair everywhere and the floor is always dirty. The only positive thing I have to say is the location is good. I would definitely recommend staying in laureles over poblado, much nicer neighbourhood.

The hostel itself is in a good location and you would have 24hrs security which makes it a safe option. The staff are cool and accommodating and everyone seems to speak a good English. The cons are: - unlike other hustles I have been it seems there is no activity group to join, but you can gather on the ground floor - kitchen might not be the cleanest ever, but you can work around - the showers and bathrooms are not cleanest as well - the privacy curtains are not covering the full bed
