Monturi Hostel

In the heart of the city of Ponta Delgada, you will find Monturi Hostel, an urban refuge inspired by nature, created and designed by a family company.
With a total of 9 rooms, each space was designed to provide comfort and privacy.

Private rooms, complete with ensuite bathrooms, offer a peaceful retreat, while shared rooms are spaces designed to provide privacy without losing the social and communal essence.

Check out from 00:00 to 11:00 .

Payment before arrival by credit and debit cards.

General:

Reception from 07:30 to 21:00. We have an intelligent locking system and customers can easily access the hostel and their room using codes.

No curfew.

Reservations and Payment Policy:
All reservations are subject to availability.
Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
The reservation is only guaranteed with full prepayment and upon receipt of confirmation via email.

Children under 4 years old:
To maintain comfort and space in our rooms, we do not provide cribs or extra beds.
Children under 4 years old are not allowed to stay so that we can maintain all safety measures safeguarded.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed.

Non-Smoking Policy:
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Hostel premises, except in designated outdoor areas.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 5 days in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows without prior notice will result in the total reservation amount not being refunded.
Cancellation after arrival at the Hostel as well as early departure for any reason will not be entitled to a refund.

Tourist Taxes:
Please ensure you are informed about any additional fees, such as tourist taxes, which may apply. These are detailed at the time of booking and must be paid upon check-in.

Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in time is from 3:00 PM. Check-out must be done by 11:00 AM. Early check-ins or late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Bed Linen/Towel Exchange:
Bed linen is changed every 3 days.
If you wish to have your towels changed, simply place them on the floor. Hung towels will not be replaced.

Dining Area:
The dining area is used to serve our continental breakfast, every day.
All guests can use the kitchen to heat and prepare their meals, as long as they are snacks and pre-prepared meals.

Security and Personal Belongings:
Monturi Hostel is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests' personal belongings.

Guest Behavior:
All guests are expected to respect the comfort and privacy of others.
Inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion without a refund.

Guest Responsibilities:
Any damage caused to the Hostel facilities will be charged to the responsible guest.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Monturi Hostel reserves the right to change or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication.
