I happened to be there at a slow time. Planned to spend only one night but extended a couple of days. I was the only one in the 8-bed dorm. For me the National Museum of the Mexican Railways (MNFM) was interesting to visit. Admission only 22 pesos. The nearby El Viejo Rosario restaurant at 8 Oriente #5 was so good that I went back twice.

I had a very good stay. The property is nice and well-maintained and in a good location. Staff is friendly and helpful, and volunteers are pretty nice. Only one piece of feedback: the doors to the dorm room I stayed at didn’t close properly so it got pretty cold at night but the blankets were heavy and warm so in the end it was okay, but I hope they work on making sure the doors close properly. Overall, I would stay again.

Brand new hostel, so give em some time (went August 2026). Beds were very nice, some showers were great, some not so much, kitchen is clean, nice little "library area" to chill and an outdoor-ish area by the rooms. Even have a rooftop terrace that's not done yet. I'd say give em until june 2027 and it'll be a near-perfect hostel!!
