Sharky Hostel Oslob which is is conveniently located just beside the New Briefing Center for Whaleshark Watching, a very good location just 1 minute walk away, 50 meters away to the beach and just 10 minutes ride to Tumalog Waterfalls also 15 minute boat ride to Sumilon Island Sandbar. Here you can relax and enjoy and meet new friends. Our hostel is composed of concrete dormitory rooms and Native Bamboo House.

DORMS are all Fully Air-conditioned and PRIVATE NIPA HUT are all Fan only.
We offer our guests to be the first to swim with the Whaleshark, just registered and pay with us upon check in if you would like to join the next morning.

The place is a dump. Do not get the private room - it has no A/C (the dormitories do), and it's so basic that the only item in the room is a bed. On top of it, the door and windows won't fully close. When I got back to the room post shark swim there was a lizard on my bed(!) Additionally, no hot water and very smelly toilet were not so welcoming. The kid that runs the place is very nice. However, they pretend to help you get your booking done, but don't mention that they charge a fee for it..

Very basic hostel, such good location for whale sharks and the workers went above and beyond to help us with everything. Didn’t matter that it’s a bit old and rundown it’s perfect early morning wake up for sharks
