Guaranteed to be at the BEST LOCATION. Sharky Hostel Oslob which is is conveniently located just beside the New Briefing Center for Whaleshark Watching, a very good location just 1 minute walk away, 50 meters away to the beach and just 10 minutes ride to Tumalog Waterfalls also 15 minute boat ride to Sumilon Island Sandbar. Here you can relax and enjoy and meet new friends. Our hostel is composed of concrete dormitory rooms and Native Bamboo House.

DORMS are all Fully Air-conditioned and PRIVATE NIPA HUT are all Fan only.
We offer our guests to be the first to swim with the Whaleshark, just registered and pay with us upon check in if you would like to join the next morning.

the staff were so unbelievably kind and friendly. rooms were cute and good social area. pretty much everyone’s there for sharks so easy to meet people. first boat out there so not many people however there was a very long queue when we were leaving which felt a little uncomfortable. the locals are so friendly too, went and had drinks with them and had fun. really recommend staying here

Amazing hostel, staff were so friendly and it was a great atmosphere, very social. It’s right on the beach next to the whale shark watching and would definitely recommend booking through the hostel. They get you in really early so you’re on of the first boats out. There isn’t much else to do around Oslob so you only need a night or two. Only disappointment was that there was no hot water so if you don’t mind a cold shower it’s perfect

Christian was great, perfect for shark tours as right next to the spot and they sort everything for you, even wake you up for it + you get to be first out on the boats
