Mellow Hostel El Paredon

Mellow Hostel is a backpackers hostel in a small town on the pacific coast in Guatemala called El Paredon Buena Vista. Come visit us to surf, swim, kayak or tan by the pool hostel where we always keep the vibes high. We are only 2 blocks away from the beach, a very short walk away.

Whether you are traveling with your crew or you're on a solo backpacking trip, we have some sweet private rooms or dormitories with and without AC, Mellow Hostel has got you covered. Our 5 room types range in size, privacy and budget.

Plenty of common space and hammocks to get inspired, dream, meet, share & connect and party sometimes. Enjoy life with a cold beer or a fresh smoothie on our sun-deck by the pool. Please know that we do not offer a communal kitchen, but have a restaurant on site. Our menu offers a great variety of food all day from 7am-9pm. On Mondays and Thursday we have a family dinner at 7pm which you can sign up for at our reception and it is a great way to connect with fellow travellers. We offer daily yoga for our guests and different hostel activities during the week like Beerpong Tournaments, Trivia and Mellowlympics. Every Friday we host a party with electronic music and live DJs.

We do not allow guests under 18 years old and as much as we love them ourselves, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate or allow pets for our Hostel guests in all room areas, in consideration of allergy-suffering guests. There is an ATM in this town, but it does run our of cash from time to time, so no guarantee. There is a 7% fee on Credit Card payments, so make sure to bring enough cash.
