Shkodra Hostel - Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival date. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 22:00. Early check-in may be available upon request.
Check out before 10:00. Late check-out WILL incur an additional fee of 7 euro.
Any vomiting or other bodily excretions in the hostel resulting from excessive alcohol or drug use, and requiring additional cleaning due to unsanitary conditions, will incur a cleaning fee of €75.
Bringing non-guests into the hostel may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
We are NOT a party hostel.
Reception hours 6:00 to 23:00
Breakfast from 6:30 to 9:00 am
The guest must not be older than 50 years.

Payment upon arrival by cash euro or lek

Shkodra Hostel & Day Tours i Shkodër hylles for sitt utrolig vennlige og hjelpsomme personale, der mange gjester fremhever eiernes personlige preg. Dagsturene er en stor attraksjon og tilbyr minneverdige opplevelser av Albaniens fantastiske natur. Det er et svært sosialt sted, perfekt for soloreisende som ønsker å knytte kontakter og utforske.

Hostel is split in two buildings: an old and new one. Rooms in both were fine from what I saw but the bathrooms in the old building could use some improvements. Very small, no hooks in the showers or a place to leave your stuff. They don’t regularly check for toiletpaper. Important to note that they don’t run every tour every day. What tour is being offered depends on demand in the hostel that is decided late at night through a poll. Makes it hard to plan. Tours were good though, bit pricey.

Very social hostel and easy to plan day trips, was end of the season so maybe it was better in the peak season but weren’t as many day tours and the cafe had minimal options. The old building is a little outdated and the bathrooms could use some hooks in the showers

I honestly think this hostel is so overrated. The vibe there was just off, not social at all. All the volunteers just keep to themselves and I kind of felt like an intruder when I was sitting in the common area. The Hostel has two locations and if u end up being at the other one u have to walk a couple of minutes to get to breakfast/ the main area. The toilets almost always had no toilet paper and I never saw staff checking on it. Honestly not worth the price nor the hype. Pick another hostel!
