Decent amenities (clean, kitchen, lockers, good Wi-Fi), but the management is unpleasant and uncaring. The owner/receptionist was very rude. He ignored my email about an app payment issue, canceled my booking, and forced me to pay $30 more. The vibe is uncomfortable and mostly older guests. One guest was very sick, coughing for 3 days and talking to himself, making it stressful to stay inside. Also, the surrounding city area feels unwelcoming with many homeless people.

Rooms, formerly Music, hostel is well located off Piotrkowska Street in the centre of Łódź, and it is very affordable. The hostel itself is not well signposted. It’s fine everything works: guest kitchen, wi-fi etc. But there are some downsides- staff are mostly absent, my bed was hard with a thin mattress, the storage cupboards are not really that secure (although I did not have a problem) and presently it’s next to a construction site. It lacks atmosphere, so do not come expecting a party.
