Welcome to ClinkNOORD, part of Clink Hostels. Set in a former 1920s laboratory, ClinkNOORD is a sociable, budget-friendly hostel in Amsterdam Noord, around five minutes from Amsterdam Centraal by the free ferry. Inside, the leafy atrium, lounge and games spaces, 24/7 café and ZincBAR give the hostel plenty of character and lots of places to settle in between exploring the city.

There is an easy social atmosphere, with a weekly Cinema Night and DJ plus special events such as Beer Tasting and Comedy Club. The free ferry is useful for keeping travel simple and costs down, while NDSM Wharf is around 10 minutes away and Dam Square around 20 minutes door-to-square.

Choose from mixed and female-only dorms, with en-suite or shared bathroom options, as well as private rooms. Dorm beds include a reading light, power access and an in-room locker; bring your own padlock. Free Wi-Fi and bed linen are included, and towels are included in private rooms.

For added peace of mind, ClinkNOORD has keycard access, CCTV, nightly security and a 24/7 staffed reception. Paid luggage storage is also available.

ClinkNOORD i Amsterdam tilbyr en fantastisk beliggenhet med gratis 24/7 ferge til sentrum. Gjestene roser det vennlige personalet og den livlige sosiale atmosfæren med mange tilgjengelige aktiviteter. Rommene er generelt rene, selv om noen nevner små rom og sporadiske problemer med dusjdesignet. Det er et flott valg for soloreisende og grupper som søker et livlig opphold.

Very good hostel, location is perfect, the ferry ride is no problem at all. Takes about 7-10 mins from the railway-station to the hostel. They have events every day and a solo travellers mixer each night, very easy to meet people. The beds aren’t super comfy, but not a big issue, who needs sleep in Amsterdam anyways?

The common area was nice, it was big and had it's own kitchen for travellers to use. The rooms could be better. The toilett and floor were dirty. The beds were ok, not the most comfortable. The worst part by far were the terrible ventilation system, each night it delivered such hot air into the room that the room were bearly liveable, it was horrible! I told the front desk 3 times, each time they called maintenance to fix it. And it worked for a few hours, but every night it stopped working.

Great location, very friendly staff and good facilities. It’s a very big hostel with lots of other travelers, so the common areas felt busy sometimes — especially at dinner time for those who wanted to use the kitchen. I loved the range of activities offered (free yoga class, guided bike rides, movie nights etc), and there seemed to be lots of activity around the bar as well (for those who are interested, I guess).
