The Patio Yogya

I really enjoyed my stay at The Patio. Pankakes for breakfast were amazing. There was a wide range of activities which you could do. The stuff was wonderful and extremly helpfull. It is a small hostel for travelers, who enjoy peace and quiet. I would work on cleaneness in the bathrooms. Unfortunately I saw one big cockroach in the hostel, which was discusting. Overall I am recommending The Patio for a stay.

Patio was in a great location, walking distance from major tourist sites and nearby to food and coffee shops. The staff were very helpful organising tours to the temples and dealing with any issues. We had a private double bed which was decent value for money and clean but the bed was pushed against the wall meaning someone had to climb in and out. The bathroom has a saloon style swing doors with no top and bottom so privacy didn’t exist. Could do with more table space or hooks. Kitchen on site.

Came here for the pool. Sorely disappointed. Ankle deep tiny pool, which nobody used despite the heat. Massive chlorine pill made water sting your skin. Breakfast not worth paying for, way better meals for same price in the area. Says no alcohol policy, but sells beer. Absolutely no washing hung, for esthetic reasons. Full clothes horse with washing. When I asked if I could hang something out. Was told only 2 items.
