Patio was in a great location, walking distance from major tourist sites and nearby to food and coffee shops. The staff were very helpful organising tours to the temples and dealing with any issues. We had a private double bed which was decent value for money and clean but the bed was pushed against the wall meaning someone had to climb in and out. The bathroom has a saloon style swing doors with no top and bottom so privacy didn’t exist. Could do with more table space or hooks. Kitchen on site.

Came here for the pool. Sorely disappointed. Ankle deep tiny pool, which nobody used despite the heat. Massive chlorine pill made water sting your skin. Breakfast not worth paying for, way better meals for same price in the area. Says no alcohol policy, but sells beer. Absolutely no washing hung, for esthetic reasons. Full clothes horse with washing. When I asked if I could hang something out. Was told only 2 items.

The Patio Hostel is great place to stay in Yogyakarta. The place is very clean, secure, quiet and staff is very friendly. It is very close to all important places in Yogyakarta. I will definitely be coming back to The Patio when I will be visiting Yogya again.
