I had an incredible time at DK1 Hostel. The rooms and bathrooms/ showers are kept incredibly clean. The host Tharita (DK Mama) is the star of the show, she made me feel so welcome right from the start. She was always around to help book bikes, travel, tours etc.. The addition of the world's cutest cat Meow Meow made my stay at DK1 hostel unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone wanted to stay on Koh Samui.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at and that’s all thanks to Mama! She is the sweetest host and even cooks food occasionally for her guests. She wrote a list for me to go to the local market to get ingredients for pad see ew and then taught me how to cook it like a mini cooking class! She interacts with everyone daily and you can tell she enjoys every second of it. A wonderful stay. Also cute cat named meow meow
