Daora Stay Beds

This hostel completely ruined my trip. It felt unsafe from the moment I arrived. There were no lockers, so I was constantly worried my belongings would be stolen. People kept entering the room without authorization, making the hostel feel even more insecure. Most of the people staying there appeared to be long-term workers rather than travelers which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. The beds were old, the rooms were dirty, and sleeping was nearly impossible because of the constant noise.

Simplesmente o recepcionista entrou no quarto de madrugada colocou a lanterna na cara da minha amiga, puxou o travesseiro da cabeça dela porque pensou que ela estava dormindo sem pagar, mesmo após termos feito o check-in. As camas fazem demasiado barulho, os quartos fedem, e é muito desorganizado.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL—I WAS ROBBED AND MANAGEMENT HAVE NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME. For context, I’ve been backpacking for the best part of nine years without ANY issue. This hostel was by far the most unprofessional, unsafe, and even UNHYGIENIC place I’ve ever been to. Due to a lack of lockers provided and cleaning staff leaving the door wide open, my luggage was ransacked and 300 euros stolen. Since then, I’ve been ignored by hostel staff and management, despite my attempts to contact them to fill out a police report for my insurance. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere for twenty euros and you’ll hopefully skip my experience!
