The owner was very kind and helpful. I appreciated his guidance and kindness. The property itself needs a lot of work though. It’s run by two volunteer girls and it was quite unclean when I checked in. The room I was in was shared with one of the volunteers and her stuff was everywhere, not neatly put. Cleanliness wasn’t the best and it doesn’t seem to be cleaned consistently.

This is the very first, women's only hostel in Tamarindo, bordering Longosta. Attached to Club 33 Surf shop, this place is minutes from the beach. The location is amazing! I will surely return. Thanks to the Hostesses, Anna and Alice and the the Boss man, Juan. Fyi, complimentary coffee and $5 bike rentals!!

Very close to the beach which was nice and there are laundry facilities on site. It's a small and intimate hostel. My main complaint is that the people running the hostel are volunteers, so you won't see any upper management during your stay there, and to a degree, the volunteers themselves are on vacation and act like it. There is a lot of sound pollution and people coming in the room constantly on their phones or talking loudly while others sleep. The staff were kind but not professional.
