Welcome to Itaca Hostel!!!, Situated on a quiet street just off Cathedral Square, right in the historic all city (Gothic quater) it is in the perfect location to be your oasis in the centre of this vibrant city. Stay with us while you are in Barcelona and be dancing distance from the best this city has to offer, including live music, art galleries, nightclubs, traditional restaurants and the beach!
Our goal is for you to have a complete experience in Barcelona so we organize various activities to enjoy as a group; a flamenco night, how to prepare good sangria, testing your palate to win in a wine tasting, to see the best views of Barcelona at sunset and enjoy dinner with new friends.
If you want to find out a little more about Barcelona and its history, we have a free walking tours everyday. Its a great opportunity to meet new people and find those hidden gems in the backstreets of our lovely city.
Our staff will always be happy to swap stories, give recommendations and enjoy together all the day and night activities we organize everyday so you can always make friends.

We have worked hard to create a tranquil environment inside the hostel so that you have a quiet space to retreat to when you need a rest.

I cannot give this place a high enough rating! By far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Super amazing staff, cozy living room, bedrooms and bathrooms were kept clean, and the people I met while I was here were unforgettable!

Had a wonderful stay during my few days here in Barcelona! I found the rooms to be pretty comfy & I came in the heat of summer so I was very happy that the rooms were nice and cool with AC. Location was great and walkable to so many things and conveniently located for easy access to metro/bus stops. I was traveling solo and met lots of friends! Found the hostel social but not nearly as loud as some of the more “party” hostels I’ve experienced in the past.

extremely clean and centrally located hostel. staff was friendly and laundry was available. the best part of the hostel was AC (turned on in evenings) and privacy screens in the beds. would stay at this hostel again!
