Definitely reminiscent of hostels in Europe where the facilities and rooms aren’t the finest but the social aspects are the most important. I met so many good people and had amazing interactions with the staff. Super welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms do not have air conditioning so it can get quite warm. Loved this hostel for meeting new people and having events thrown!

Decent place to stay for cheap. Bunch are okay with curtain and charger but sometimes falls out on your head while sleeping cause it’s loose connection 😑 one thing is it’s a somewhat moderate walk to the Asakusa station everyday to train. Huge + they sell the 24,48 &72 hour metro passes there in the hostel! Which is huge right now with the chip shortage. Also the Senso-ji temple right there you can get up early like 7ish and be there with essentially nobody. Free breakfast, toast.

Worth booking if travelling on a budget. Great location to explore Asakusa and near public transport. Saving grace of this hostel was the Saturday free walking tour of the famous fish market and garden in Tokyo. Through that, I made friends with a great group of people who I explored most of Tokyo with. Otherwise I found that people didn’t really socialise in the common room and kept themselves to themselves. Rooms are cosy, and bathrooms and showers are functional at best!
