Clean hostel, we had a nice room with natural light but this could be because we were on level 4. Shared kitchen was tiny and not well ventilated. Didn't seem very social. Our room card was blocked at 10am inspite of check out being at 11am on weekends. The location is quite far out of old town and a little dirty and rough. Great if you want to be close to the train station but be prepared to pay €5ish one way to take the bus into old town or walk 35mins.

The location was great and easy to walk to the train station to be able to go into Amsterdam. The only downside (besides that there’s no kitchen) is that they also host school groups, so that definitely changed the vibe of the stay with multiple different groups of teenagers running around the hostel
