Summary of traveller reviews

The Liverpool Pod offers a friendly atmosphere with exceptionally helpful staff. Guests frequently praise the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. While located a bit further from the city centre, it's well-connected by bus and convenient for football stadium visits. Some guests note a lack of social vibe and occasional security concerns due to the area and lack of room locks.

far away from the city centre, the security measures are not up to a typical hostel standard: “self check in” meaning you get the code for the door downstairs and then you could technically enter into every room in this hostel. If you pay for a women’s dorm, there’s no lock so men could just get in there. bed was pretty good, there’s small lockers in the dorm and you can do your laundry for free, kitchen was clean but no staff working there. Also there was a homeless person sleeping in my dorm

No staff whatsoever, got a code to let myself in. People letting phone alarms run all night and was someone sleeping on the couch in the communal area probably without paying. Bedclothes were stained. Location was awful... Near Anfield but miles from the city centre. Was very cheap though, so there's that...

Interesting spot, way uptown, no reception or 24hr staff and no locking for under bed storage bins. Although being able to do free laundry was nice. Good value for the money.
