Liverpool, famous for its football team and for being the birthplace of The Beatles is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also enjoy the different parks like Sefton Park or Otterspool Park, to name just a few. The city centre is quite compact so you can easily venture around on foot. There are frequent bus services to and from Anfield and the journey should take you approximately 15 minutes.
