We had a good stay - the staff are friendly and helpful, the sunrise hike was amazing and the food was really good. The only downside was things kept breaking in our treehouse (the flush, the lights, the fans), and food was really slow to come out (2.5 hours). But they were helpful to fix things when we mentioned them.

The staff is super nice, they will help you with everything you need. The hostel is 45 mins walking from the main area (or 8 mins in tuktuk), so it’s pretty peaceful. I met a lot of really nice people there, they take you to sunset and sunrise if you want to go.
Cons: they do not provide towels, the wifi and phone signal are REALLY bad so don’t count on having either of them while you’re there. Food is nice but takes a long time

Very good social hostel, a lot of other packpackers. The staff helps with everything. They even bring you to the mountain at 5AM for the sunrise.
